NEW VIDEO: Canadian man with disabilities speaks out against being offered euthanasia "multiple times"
"You feel pillaged."
Dear friends,
Roger Foley, a Canadian man with disabilities, says he's been offered euthanasia "multiple times."
In this new 5-minute video, he speaks out against being devalued as he fights for the support he needs to live:
Getting to know Roger over the past year and becoming friends with him has had a huge impact on me personally. I admire Roger’s tenacious spirit and his willingness to advocate for himself and for others.
Particularly since Canada expanded euthanasia to those whose deaths are not “reasonably foreseeable”, persons with disabilities have become especially threatened.
We know that the supports in our country for persons with disabilities are woefully inadequate. Nobody should be euthanized because they have a disability and lack the resources they need to live. And, like everyone else, persons with disabilities deserve suicide prevention, not suicide assistance.

This is your best video yet. I hope Roger gets the breakthrough he is looking for!
Roger, I can't give you a hug in person, but here's a virtual hug. I hope you can feel it, because it's sincere. Don't ever give up.
